This charming, three-bedroom stay has undergone a modern makeover that perfectly combines the home’s original heritage features with modern, high-quality finishes, offering guests an elegantly appointed space to unwind and socialise while being just moments from the heart of Launceston.

Open-plan living welcomes guests to settle in on the oversized corner lounge and watch TV, or prepare meals for loved ones in the fully equipped kitchen. You’ll find all the essentials you need, including a fridge, freezer, oven, stove, and microwave, as well as other basics such as pots, pans, and utensils.

Enjoy laidback meals at the kitchen island or eat together in the light-filled dining area, where a six-seater table setting overlooks the deck. Should you choose to dine alfresco, or want to cook up a feast on the BBQ, sliding glass doors seamlessly connect the dining area with a private outdoor space, complete with a table and seating as well as a shade umbrella.

Three thoughtfully furnished bedrooms accommodate six guests, with all three rooms offering queen-size beds. Brickfields Reserve is less than 10 minutes walk, a traditional square park offering a leafy oasis for exercise and picnics. Stop in at a nearby cafe on the way and enjoy your coffee in the tranquil surroundings. The beautiful heritage park Princes Square and the eateries of Charles Street are also a short walk from Tralee Cottage.

All the attractions of Launceston are within easy reach, including Cataract Gorge, The Queen Victoria Museum and Gallery, and the popular Harvest Community Farmers’ Market, held on Saturdays.

Launceston is also the gateway to the stunning wine trails of the Tamar Valley, and around two hours drive from Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park – home to the world-famous Overland Track.
