The Banker’s Loft From $200
Launceston, TAS per night

Discover the beauty and history of Launceston from this Art Deco abode, uniquely located on the top storey of a former inner-city bank building. Contemporary meets old-world charm, with the three-bedroom stay pairing original features with modern conveniences.

Whether travelling with family or friends, for work or leisure, you’ll appreciate the outlook over Princes Square and being on the doorstep of the cafes and restaurants of Charles Street.

The space

This elegant, three-bedroom stay offers a comfortable and memorable visit to Launceston, with a recent refresh ensuring that every room is thoughtfully appointed while retaining stunning Art Deco details.

The heart of this welcoming apartment is the lounge area, where a generous sofa provides the perfect spot to relax and watch TV or chat with loved ones. High ceilings and beautiful, arched windows create a sense of spaciousness and maximise natural light, while split-system air-conditioning will keep everyone comfortable year-round.

Prepare meals in the combined kitchen and dining area, where you’ll find all the essentials needed to cook up a feast, including a fridge, freezer, oven, stove, microwave, as well as other basics such as pots, pans and utensils, plus stools and a table to enjoy casual dining at home.

Three spacious and elegantly appointed bedrooms accommodate six guests, with the master bedroom featuring a king-size bed, the second bedroom offering a queen-size bed, and the third bedroom offering a single with a trundle bed. A standout feature of the master bedroom is the original fireplace, you’ll also find a work desk alongside the window.

The bathroom exudes retro charm, displaying some of the apartment’s original Art Deco features. You’ll also find a shower and a bathtub, offering the opportunity to indulge in a relaxing soak, plus all the essentials including soap, shampoo, conditioner and a hairdryer.

Other conveniences include Wi-Fi and laundry facilities including a washing machine and dryer.
