Welcome to Stella Rose, your serene waterfront escape in the heart of the Tamar Valley. This enchanting cottage, surrounded by a beautiful garden, offers countless vantage points to view the ever-changing seasons on the kanamuluka/Tamar River.

Our cottage has been beautifully updated with modern conveniences while retaining the unique quality of its mid-century features. It has a special feel that will wrap you in its charms, evoking memories of the past and leaving you with new lifelong memories.

The spacious layout is perfect for up to four guests.

Living Area: The sunny lounge room offers beautiful vistas of the garden across to the river. A focal point of the room is the cozy wood heater, perfect for watching the flames dance on a cool evening. You can also stream all of your favorite shows and movies on the TV. A large, solid timber door serves as a unique dividing screen between the kitchen and living area.

Kitchen & Dining: The open-plan kitchen contains all the modern conveniences you need to cook a delicious meal, including a Nespresso-compatible coffee machine and other kitchen basics. The adjacent dining area is perfectly sized for four guests.

Bedrooms: On the upper level, you’ll find two bedrooms, each with a king-size bed dressed in crisp, white bedding for a comfortable night’s sleep. The master bedroom takes in the best views of the garden and river, and includes a full wardrobe, a dual heater/air conditioner, and a dedicated office space with a view. The second bedroom enjoys peaceful views of the back garden.

Bathroom & Laundry: The main bathroom features a shower, vanity, and a bath perfect for soaking after a day of exploring. A small utility space downstairs contains a washer, dryer, and a hanging area for your jackets.

Outdoors: The front porch catches the lovely morning light and extends out to the front garden. Spend your days exploring the Tamar Valley and return to the peace of Stella Rose Cottage, either inside by the fire or taking a wander to discover the hidden spots in the established gardens. A well-stocked woodpile can be found at the rear of the property.

You will have exclusive use of the entire property. There’s off-street parking for a number of cars.

Given, its views over the Tamar River, Stella Rose Cottage is elevated so the driveway is on an incline. However, you can drive right up to the back door so if you have any guests with mobility issues this won’t be a concern.
