Glenbothy Estate From $800
Relbia, TAS per night
Welcome to Glenbothy Estate—a private retreat tucked deep within the storybook folds of the Tamar Valley wine region. Set on acres of soft pastures and rolling hills, this enchanting haven weaves together quiet luxury, stillness, and the earthy magic of a working vineyard.

This is a place where memories linger like the last notes of a cherished day, and where you and your favourite people will find an enchantment you’ll never forget.
The space
Though it may feel as if you’ve wandered a million miles from civilisation, the estate rests just a dreamy 10-minute drive from Launceston City — close enough for convenience, yet far enough to feel utterly enchanted.

Guests are invited to unwind in complete serenity, with direct easement access to the tranquil North Esk River — perfect for simply soaking up the peaceful natural surrounds.

Thoughtfully transformed from a humble cellar door into an expansive, refined residence, Glenbothy Estate offers an escape like no other. From the moment you meander down the winding driveway, you’ll be captivated by the breathtaking, panoramic views across the Tamar Valley.

Step through the front door into a generous, open-plan living domain, where breathtaking, panoramic views across the Tamar Valley greet you. Designed for effortless relaxation, the sun-washed, east-facing living area spills out onto broad paved terraces overlooking the rolling vines.

Inside, two sumptuous couches invite you to choose your favourite vantage point. Be mesmerised by the flickering glow of the wood heater, curl up with a book, or simply enjoy long conversations while gazing through enormous picture windows framing the sweeping landscape.

The fully equipped gourmet kitchen will leave even the world’s finest chefs wanting for nothing. Imagine preparing a celebratory meal in this exquisite space while friends and family gather at the island bench. Whether you dine indoors or slide open the full-height doors to the sun-drenched outdoor dining area, every meal is a moment to savour.

A separate cosy sitting nook with a gas log fire is ideal for quiet morning conversations before the house awakens. Or step outside onto the outdoor lounge and breathe in the drifting jasmine fragrance and the freshest country air imaginable.

The private sleeping wing features four beautifully appointed bedrooms, each with its own pristine ensuite and uninterrupted views of the vineyard, lush pastures, and distant mountains. The master suite also boasts a generous walk-in robe.

Outside, enjoy leisurely alfresco lunches and long afternoons in the sunshine with amenities including:

– A wood-fired pizza oven
– A gas BBQ
– Paved terraces and an outdoor lounge

You will have private access to the entire main home and surrounding gardens. For safety and operational reasons, the following areas are restricted:

– The garage
– The separate cottage in the back yard
– The home’s office
– All farm sheds and equipment

Access to the home is via a lockbox, and details will be sent before your arrival. Ample private guest parking is available at the property.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for everyone and to protect our property, we ask that you observe the following:

As this is a working vineyard, please do not enter the rows of vines or touch the crop to preserve its integrity.

Please supervise small children at all times, especially near the gated access to the North Esk River. Entry to the river is at your own risk.

Hot Tub: Please note that for legal and safety reasons, the hot tub visible at the property is not available for guest use.

Accessibility: The property may not be ideal for guests with accessibility requirements. While there are no stairs to the front entrance, there are small flights of stairs leading into the bedroom wing.

Grounds: This is a semi-rural property. Please be aware of some steep and uneven areas in the surrounding gardens if you wander far from the house.
Staff: A gardener tends to the property from time to time and may be on-site during your stay.

Before your arrival, we will share a comprehensive house guide with instructions on how to access the property, use appliances, and everything else you may need to know.
